Here it is the new season and Coke Studio’s got a fiery touch now!!! The songs of Season 15 are out on the market and dominating the downloads charts and such songs as “Blockbuster”. One of the main attributes of the popularity of the song is the wonderful and beautiful voice of young singer Saba Hassan. But her story to fame in Coke Studio is even more inspiring.

Many may not know how Xulfi, the genius brains behind Coke Studio found this talent; but it indeed was a very funny story! This indeed becomes a hip-hop song that mainly involves the “Gharwi Group” and the lyrics such as “Vey baby rickshaw mein kar liya main tere waley aariyan…vey mar janiya” make it a good hit.

The song, to which the name ‘Blockbuster’ only confirms the lyrics’ meaning, has been viewed over 13 million times on YouTube. However, the most striking figure is one of the girls who greatly emphasizes and complements the song.

The song has gotten Faris Shafi in a new avatar that has left the fans questioning, but it is the massive one-take music video that really sets the song apart. Backed by Zeeshan Parwez, this film was vigorously set with a set built in the village, more than 400 extras, and more than 200 crews. This particular video choreographer was the Norwegian dance group known as ‘The Quick Style,’ and their addition put the video on another level, at least from an energetic standpoint.

As for the song under discussion, “Blockbuster” is much more than just a song; it is a symbol of people’s ability to create and express themselves, as well as a tribute to the moments of wonder and amazement. Through their one-take video, enthusiastic choreography, and the icing on the cake, the inclusion of young Saba, Coke Studio has done it again to deliver cultural epitomes that connect with the viewers.
