Renowned Pakistani comedian Sardar Kamal has died at the age of 52, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and entertainment. With a career spanning over three decades, he was a household name, celebrated for his exceptional comedic timing and impressive stage presence. Sardar Kamal passed away on Tuesday night, July 30, 2024, at the age of 52, due to a sudden heart attack in Lahore. 24NewsHD TV channel also reported that the comedian passed on due to cardiac arrest, which made him pass on at a youthful age. His death has been confirmed by fellow actors and industry professionals, who are posting their tributes on social media in the wake of the legendary comedian’s death.
The Comedy King has been active in the industry for more than three decades, starring in many successful stage and television plays. He was incredibly popular and revered for his superb timing, his ability to work a crowd, and his large presence on stage. As stated in Dawn News, Kamal acted in more than thirty films and countless stage dramas and is known as the ‘Comedy King’. Some of his most notable TV appearances include the popular comedy shows ‘Khabarnaak’ and ‘Hasb-e-Haal.’
He also appeared on many television talk shows such as ‘Mazaaq Raat’ and ‘The Shareef Show’. He was a recipient of the prestigious ‘Pride of Performance’ award, conferred by the President of Pakistan. His contributions to Pakistani comedy and entertainment have been immense, inspiring a generation of comedians and actors.
Famous TV stars, in their condolence messages said that the Pakistani stage and drama industry has lost a big star. The funeral of Sardar Kamal will be held in his hometown of Faisalabad, where people especially the fans and other actors can come and give him a decent send-off. Notable attendees include industry professionals and politicians, who will attend the funeral procession.
