The Secret Behind Rabeeca’s Gesture- Why She Covered Her Belly with Her Hand At Engagement?

Famed TikToker Rabeeca Khan and Hussain Tareen sealed their love with ring. Well, they enjoyed it by having the ‘Qawali Night’, ‘Dholki’, ‘Dandiya Night’, and before the actual engagement function, ‘Mehendi Lagai’. 

Engagement is always an amazing feeling everyone wants to share, and Rabeeca did so by posting theme based photoshoot. In these shots, Tareen recreated proposing to Rabeeca in an idealized romantic way that depicted their love story. 

Something which has especially been noticed throughout the whole engagament is that, throughout the entire function, whenever Rabeeca Khan would cover her belly, while folding her hands whenever she did that, it had never been seen before in the previous events and functions like, her Dholki night , where she looked very much comfortable with her dress. But in her engagement, she felt quite uneasy and her blouse which was quite short made her conscious of it.

When Hussain was about to put the engagement ring on her finger and was on his knees, still she had her tummy protected by her arm, and with the other arm she allowed him to complete the engagement traditional process of placing ring on her finger. It was the action of an oriental women who would not let other men to look at her because she had to send the unspoken signal that she will only belong to her future husband. A modest gesture indeed!

As for the rings, the diamond and gold ring Consultancy made people go ‘aww’. Rabeeca was seen wearing a gold band on her finger with some more wider and complex designs on it. While Hussain’s ring was a platinum band establishing a combination of diamond piece and silver finishing.

For the ceremony, Rabeeca donned a crisp, embellished silver-hued dress, having the cost of 7 lac, with cape sleeve detailing. The dress was heavily embroidered and had embellishments all over it. It even had sheer detailing on the sleeves and a long fringe trail along the sleeves. For her glam, Rabeeca went all out with a dewy base, blush-flushed cheeks, and pink lips. 

She had silver-toned silver eye shadows and defined eyebrows to complete her glam. On the other hand, Hussian Tareen opted for an ivory-hued overcoat with a white shirt underneath and a black sheer waistcoat. He paired his look with white-toned trousers and black shoes.  The couple was all smiles in the pictures while snaps and videos garnered mixed reactions from social media users.
